Door® division
of Clopay Building Product company warrants to the original purchaser
of an Ideal Door model CDP38, CFL38 or CRP38 commercial sectional doors
the following, subject to all of the terms and conditions hereof: |
1.) One (1) Year Limited
Warranty: |
| Ideal
Door warrants the doors and all components thereof to be free from
defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from
the date of purchase. The Clopay obligation under this warranty is
specifically limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any
part of the Door which shall be determined by Clopay to be defective
during the one (1) year warranty period. |
2.) Ten (10) Year Paint Limited Warranty: |
| Ideal Door warrants
for ten (10) years from the date of purchase, the original finish of
the door against rust through due to paint finish cracking, checking
or peeling (losing adhesion) as follows: If within the term of the warranty,
the sections are determined to be defective, as verified upon inspection
by persons authorized by Clopay Building Products Company, we will replace
or otherwise restore (at our option) any such upward acting sectional
door section. |
| This warranty shall
not extend to or cover deterioration due to damage or rust to the garage
door section finish caused by fire, an act of God, other accident or
casualty, vandalism, radiation, harmful fumes or foreign substances in
the atmosphere. |
3.) Five (5) Year Delamination
Limited Warranty |
| Ideal
Door warrants for five (5) years from the date of purchase the steel
doors sections will not delaminate (steel from polystyrene core) during
normal door operation. T his warranty shall not extend to or cover
deterioration due to damage to the door section caused by fire, an
act of God, other accident or casualty, vandalism, radiation, harmful
fumes or foreign substances in the atmosphere. |

MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS, OR COVENANTS, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS OR COVENANTS AS TO WORKMANSHIP, DESIGN,
CAPACITY, QUALITY, CONDITION, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE
OF THE PRODUCT, EXCEPT FOR ANY “IMPLIED
WARRANTY” AS THAT TERM IS DEFINED
IN THE MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY-FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION IMPROVEMENT ACT, SUCH
IMPLIED WARRANTIES TO BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR
FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. |

gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state. |
